What a wonderful day of pumpkin math!We made predictions about if our pumpkins would float or not and we measured how tall our pumpkins were with cubes!Math with our Moms was extra FUN...Some of us liked the pumpkin smell and the feel of the pulp and some preferred just to feel the pumpkin's skin.We wanted to take some of the seeds home with us to grow our very own pumpkins! We voted on how to carve our Jack-O-Lantern's face!In the afternoon we played some games too! Then we met our German teacher, Frau Roesner! Here is our sweet counselor teaching us about "personal space". We learned that if someone wants to come inside the hula hoop, they have to ask permission. It's not okay to crowd people. What a great lesson for a young child. Thanks Mrs. Hougham!
